IZUTSU endorses the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
with all stakeholders in working towards their achievement.
What are the SDGs?
SDGs stands for "Sustainable Development Goals." Adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015, the SDGs represent a set of goals that 193 member countries of the United Nations have committed to achieving over a 15-year period from 2016 to 2030. Consisting of 17 goals and 169 targets, the SDGs serve as a common language for sustainable development and are increasingly recognized as a shared framework for the entire planet.

①Environmentally friendly degreasing and cleaning system
IZUTSU has introduced a precision cleaning system that uses organic solvents in compliance with ‘environmental protection regulations’ and ‘green procurement’.

②Use of environmentally friendly cardboard and boxes
IZUTSU procures materials from FSC-certified companies and also uses environmentally friendly, recycled materials (cardboard and paper) and staple-free boxes, which are required in medical, semiconductor and food factories.
FSC® Certification... A certification system that guarantees products originate from responsibly managed forests. The FSC® certification system (forest certification system) is an international program operated by the nonprofit organization FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®). Products that are FSC® certified can display the FSC® certification logo.
