What is a flexible knipple?

The most common inquiry we receive from our customers is "What size O-ring do you use for flexible knipples? Looking at catalog photos and drawings, there is indeed a groove on the PF side.
However, this groove is called [relief] and is not used for attaching anything. Also, the flexible nipple is for low pressure, and if you want the O-ring groove, it is for high pressure. We also stock PTxPF hexagonal nipples with O-ring grooves. Click here for the product page
